Scan receipts & capture expenses

Capture expenses by scanning a receipt with the camera, uploading a file, recording by voice, or sending photos over WhatsApp/Telegram once linked — OCR extracts the details, auto-categorises and files the expense.

Scan receipts & capture expenses

Fullness reads receipts for you. Snap a photo (or send one in) and OCR extracts the merchant, date, total, tax and line items, then auto-categorises the expense — so entering an expense takes seconds, not minutes.

Ways to add an expense

  1. Scan receipt — in the app, tap add and choose Scan receipt. Take a photo and review the extracted details before saving.
  2. Upload a file — attach a photo or PDF you already have (for example, an emailed receipt you saved).
  3. Voice — describe the expense out loud and Fullness drafts the entry for you to confirm.
  4. Manual entry — type the amount and details yourself.
  5. WhatsApp / Telegram — link your chat account in the app’s settings, then send receipt photos straight to Fullness. The same OCR pipeline files them for you, and you can correct the category by replying to the confirmation.

What happens next

Extracted receipts are auto-categorised using your merchant rules and the AI categoriser. Anything the system isn’t confident about lands in Needs Review so you can check it — nothing is silently filed. Receipts stay attached to their transactions for tax-ready documentation and exportable expense reports.

Limits

Receipt OCR scans are metered by plan (for example, the free personal plan includes a monthly allowance of scans). See Settings → Billing → Usage for your current count, or Plans & pricing to compare plans.
