Chart of accounts

Your chart of accounts is the list of ledger accounts (assets, liabilities, equity, income, expenses) your business uses. Fullness provides a sensible default set you can customize under Accounting → Chart of accounts.

Mappings

Mappings control how categories and connected bank accounts post to your ledger accounts. Review them under Mappings to make sure, for example, that "Software" expenses land in the right ledger account.

Best practices

• Keep the chart lean — add detail only when you need to report on it separately.
• Set mappings once at setup; categorization then keeps your books consistent automatically.
