Fix a broken or stale connection

Banks occasionally require you to re-authorize a connection (for example after a password change or a security update on their side). Here's how to fix it.

Re-authenticate

  1. Go to Banking and look for an account flagged Needs attention or Reconnect.
  2. Click Reconnect and sign in again through the secure window.

If balances look wrong

  • Trigger a manual refresh from the account menu.
  • Check whether a recent transaction is still pending at the bank — pending amounts can shift.
  • Make sure you haven't added the same account both as a connection and as a manual account.
