Track accounts that can't be linked and bring in history from a spreadsheet.
Manual accounts & CSV import
Not every account can (or needs to) be linked. Use manual accounts and CSV import to capture everything.
Add a manual account
- Go to Banking → Add account → Manual account.
- Name it, choose the type (checking, savings, cash, credit card, loan, investment) and currency.
- Enter the current balance. Update it whenever you like, or add transactions to keep it precise.
Import transactions from CSV
- Open the account and choose Import → CSV.
- Upload your file and map the columns (date, description, amount, and optionally category).
- Review the preview and confirm. Duplicates are detected so you can import safely.
Tip: most banks let you export statements as CSV. Importing a few months of history makes your budgets and reports far more useful from day one.
