Upload M-Pesa PDFs or bank statement files to import and categorise transactions automatically.

Import bank statements & M-Pesa

If your bank is not yet linked, or if you want to pull in historical transactions, you can upload a statement file. Fullness supports M-Pesa PDFs and common bank formats including CSV, OFX, MT940 and CAMT.053.

Upload a statement

  1. Go to Banking and select the account you want to import into (or create a manual account first).
  2. Tap Import and choose the file. M-Pesa PDFs are parsed automatically, including multi-page statements.
  3. Review the detected transactions. Map any unrecognised columns if you are importing CSV.
  4. Confirm — the transactions are imported and categorised using your merchant rules and AI categorisation.

M-Pesa support

M-Pesa statements are processed page by page. The parser handles page-break splits and extracts the date, description, amount and balance. Imported M-Pesa rows are matched against existing transactions to avoid duplicates.

After import

Open Transactions to review imported rows. Rows that need attention appear in Needs Review. Once categorised, each transaction posts to the ledger and updates budgets, goals and reports.
