Two-factor authentication (MFA)

Add a second layer of protection to your account.

Two-factor authentication (MFA)

Two-factor authentication (also called MFA) requires a second verification step in addition to your password, dramatically reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

Turn on MFA

  1. Go to Settings → Security.
  2. Choose Enable two-factor authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or set up SMS/email codes), then enter a code to confirm.
  4. Save your backup codes somewhere safe in case you lose your device.

On mobile

Enable Face ID / fingerprint unlock for fast, secure access on the mobile app.

We may also require a verification step before sensitive actions like sending money.
